Originally from Sorn, Graeme left the family farm to study in Glasgow, before qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with a medium sized firm in Cumbria.
After joining William Duncan + Co in 1995 Graeme also qualified as a Chartered Tax Adviser.
Graeme uses his accounting and tax knowledge to look after a broad spectrum of clients from small sole traders to large corporate entities – some with turnover in excess of £40million. In jointly leading our Agricultural team, he has found his own experience and knowledge of farming to be a significant advantage. The key for Graeme is to get into the minds of his clients, get the sleeves rolled up and get beside them to guide them and there business’s with tax planning and future strategy. Whilst results are important life goals can be equally as important.
At home Graeme and his wife Lynne have two sons. He enjoys being a taxi driver at the weekends(!!) and watching sport of any kind, especially rugby and football.
