We are looking for an experienced account manager to join our Agriculture Team.

 

Ideally experience in this area of accounting would be beneficial, although not a deal breaker. The main attributes of the successful candidate will be a strong knowledge in the preparation of partnership and limited company accounts and a desire to join a very progressive and digitally driven team.

You should either be Xero certified or willing to become certified. Good communication skills will also be required as you will be responsible for your own portfolio of clients working in partnership with them as we evolve further into the advisory role with our clients. Tax knowledge is not essential as this is provided by our tax team. The successful candidate may hold a formal accounting qualification or they may be qualified through experience in a similar role.

We specialise in herd basis accounting, capital allowances, capital gains and inheritance taxes, subsidy systems and averaging rules. We also provide support on management reporting, KPIs, benchmarking, forecasting, budgeting, personal finances and self assessment. Our team are passionate about the use of digital technology to assist farmers and are experts in cloud based applications Xero and Figured.
